The lab is constantly developing and exciting times lie ahead! We never used to have a Denture Dept until 6 years ago - hence the name Vision Dental Ceramics, but I’m now proud to say we are a full service laboratory. I have always been very hands-on in the lab however I still work closely with clients. I’m passionate about teaching other technicians the skills and techniques I have learned; you can see that they take a lot away with them whether they continue to work alongside me, or go on to make a go of their own lab and business. I always encourage staff to better themselves and am always here to offer support.

Roy owns Vison Dental with his wife Jemma. Roy has worked in dentistry for over 30 years in some well-established labs before opening his own lab with Jemma over 16 years ago.

It amazes me to see how much the company has developed and changed over the years. We work extremely hard to make sure we are moving ahead with the times and are always up-to-date with the latest technology. I am very proud of our wonderful relationships with our clients too.

Like Roy, Jemma is very hands on in the lab and loves all aspects of running it. She keeps the lab working together like a family whilst also taking care of and raising a family of her own. Jemma helps all staff with their training/CPD and always encourages them to develop themselves further.

We have a great, friendly range of Technicians, all with their own individual strengths in various different departments. All our technicians are GDC registered. Our trainee technicians who are not yet qualified are attending university training to become registered, which goes great with learning on the job as they acquire more skills.
